Matt Lofton Motorsports

Matt Lofton Motorsports is based in Mooresville, NC and is owned and managed by Matt Lofton. The team has competed in the USAR ProCup series (formerly the Hooter's series) and will be competing in the ARCA series in 2010 with owner Matt Lofton driving.

Matt has proven himself as a talented and capable driver from the start of his racing career. Competing in go-kart racing from the age of 7, Matt garnered numerous trophies for his driving skill. He resumed his racing career at age 20 driving in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series at Orange County Speedway, Southern National Raceway, South Boston Speedway, and Ace Speedway. His first year in racing, Matt won the Limited Late Model Championship at the famous Orange County Speedway. The next racing season, Matt began driving in the late model class. He was the Late Model Rookie of the Year at South Boston Speedway and Orange County Speedway as well as reserve Late Model Champion at Orange County Speedway. The following year, Matt began competing in the Hooter's Procup Series (currently the USAR ProCup Series). His second year in ProCup (2009) saw Matt proving himself again to be a talented driver with 3 top five finishes and 8 top 10 finishes. He completed the season in the top 10 in points. The Matt Lofton Motorsports team is looking forward to an even better season in 2010 by putting the Strutmasters.com Chevy in the winner's circle!
